Discussing this morning what the value might be of talking to someone rather than only thinking it through on your own. It seems that saying something out loud transforms your thoughts far more than than using your inner voice. So you might have said to yourself that a certain course of action made sense. Saying it out loud to someone else can mean that you actually put the thought into action. It can also mean you think again.
This happened to me recently when, having said my thoughts out loud, I thought “that is really me making excuses”. And I was!
